In Over/true (2003) the famous sentence „War-war-war! I get so bored I could scream! Besides… There isn’t going to be any war!“ taken from Gone With the Wind (USA 1939) becomes a ghostly mantra which clearly ignores the destruction already taking place. Krippendorff’s video reminds the viewer of the constant attempt of war denial and the natural reaction of turning the other way when faced with disaster.
